Hmm...looks like I suck.

At blogging that is. Maybe I should take a cue from Rebekah and just go on an official hiatus...

Here's some updates -

Only 7 weeks to go until baby girl is here. Can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. I'm HUGE! At least I feel that way. Luckily, I'm all belly and my butt hasn't gotten gigantic of anything like that. I did have someone tell me my face got fat - seriously! I immediately called a friend who is very honest and asked her. She said it's not. Which is what I thought. Whew! Now, granted, she could've been lying to spare the hormonal pregnant chick's feelings, but I really, really, really, don't think my face is fat!!!!

We got the crib up and the bedding is on it - It looks fabulous! I'm just in love with it. We got The Secret Garden line from Lambs & Ivy. And I've started to put away her clohtes, get the room organized. I'll paint and hang the curtain in January.
Now..to decide on a name! It's down to two, if only Michael would be willing to make a decision. He's trying hard to hold out until we have her. I of course, want a name right now! Besides, I need to get those cute jumbo wood letters to spell out her name and hang in her room. :)

We're all moved in our new house. Memo to self - moving while pregnant isn't bad, you don't have to lift anything. Moving while pregnant, the same weekend as a shower, the first week in December, before your other house as sold? Not such a great idea. But we absolutely love it. It's perfect! And we're not moving for a loooooong time!

I only have a month and a half of work left. It'll be weird to not come here everyday as I've done for the last four years. But I'm so looking foward to being a SAHM!

I can't get enough Chipotle. We've had it once a week for the last 6 weeks at least. And I could easily eat it 2 or 3 times a week. I think Michael's getting tired of it but being the good hubby he is, he keeps going with me! If only Chipotle had a contest where you could win free burritos for a year! I'd so be trying to win that!

I guess that's about it!

Merry Christmas and God Bless!

I *heart* Bon Jovi

Last night was the Bon Jovi concert. The concert I’ve been anxiously anticipating for weeks. And it definitely was not a disappointment!

In case you didn’t know, I’m a HUGE Bon Jovi fan. My sister took me to my first Bon Jovi concert when I was in 8th grade. (Here's a page I did about it a while back.) I saw them again in 1993 and 2001. Last night I went with my sister, her sister-in-law and 2 friends to see them for the 4th time.

First off, can I just say how HOT Jon Bon Jovi is??? Not just hot, but sexy – it’s the rock star thing. The show was amazing. 2 hours of fantastic songs, a great show and lots of screaming. Plus, Jon Bon Jovi is hot.

There were 2 girls I wanted to be last night – the girl who ran on stage and hugged him – a really loooong hug. And the girl he (the really sexy Jon Bon Jovi) pulled up on the platform and danced with. Granted, my belly might’ve knocked him off the platform, but I still wish it was me!

Speaking of my belly – can I just say how many strange looks I got last night!?! Everyone was staring at my belly. I guess it’s not everyday you see a 6th month pregnant woman at a Bon Jovi concert. One woman who passed me said “God bless your baby” - I replied I was starting her off young! And that Jon Bon Jovi is hot.

The worst part of the night was my realization that I could’ve taken my camera and didn’t! Last time I tried to take a camera to a concert, I had to take it back to my car because cameras weren’t allowed. Last night of course, they were. There were flashes going off everywhere! Very sad about that.

I seriously wish there was another concert tonight so I could see them again. It was awesome. I guess I’ll go home and play the Oprah episode he was on…or the MTV awards show where he performed with Richie Sambora….or Crossroads with Sugarland…or the Moscow Music Peace Festival…or the New Jersey concert video they put out…or their video collection…or…well, it doesn’t matter, he’s hot in everyone of them!!!!

It's a...

Girl!!!!

We had the u/s this morning and found out it's a girl. I'll be honest, I kind of had it my mind it was a boy, although I didn't realize it until after the technician said it's a girl. I actually had 2 dreams last night that we had two ultrasounds and it was a boy both times. I've been calling her "him" and was starting to love all the little sporty boy clothes. I've got to retrain myself to say "her" now!

Michael's going to have Daddy's Little Girl and I'm going to have someone to scrap with, ha ha ha!

Now, we can pick a name, bedding and register for girly stuff!!! :)

Favorite Jelly Belly flavors = happiness

So last night after work I was killing time at Tower City before my seminar. I got some Sakkio Japan for dinner - sooooo good and also went in the the candy store. I decided to get some Jelly Belly jelly beans. I don't get them too often as I never like to pick my own flavors.

So, what flavors did I get?
Cotton Candy
Dr. Pepper
Red Apple
Strawberry Cheescake
Strawberry Daquiri
Very Cherry
Tutti Fruitti
(did you notice they're all red/pink flavors? hmmm..)

I haven't tried these yet but I'm sure I'd like them:
Raspberry
Strawberry Jam

And I'll never again buy:
Cinnamon
buttered popcorn

I also threw some pink rock candy and red sour patch kids (yes, red and pink again,I can't help it!) At my college bookstore they sold individually wrapped jumbo sour patch kids. Yeah, I'd dig through the entire box and buy ALL the red ones. Aaah, sweet memories...

And for the entire 3 hour seminar I ate Jelly Bellys (or is it Bellies?) and sour patch kids.

Yum.

We're back!

The camping trip was a success. We once again had amazing luck with the weather. It was gorgeous, although Saturday was a bit cold. We played Bocce and Badminton, roasted marshmallows and made pizza pies over the campfire, played games, told stories, went on walks and took A LOT of pictures! Sleeping in the tent wasn't too bad.

I fit in my sleeping bag just fine and once my BIL let me use his body pillow to put between my legs I was good to go. I made it to 4 AM before I got up to pee, and let me just say - walking to the restroom with a flashlight that early in morning - not so fun. I of course was scared - kept thinking something or someone was going to get me. Yeah, I'm a little paranoid!

My SIL Abby took a gazillion pictures of me which was a lot of fun. The setting was just gorgeous.

Here are some pictures of our trip.

Camping time!

Yep. This weekend is our annual camping trip with Michael's family. Look forward to it all year. Not necessarily looking forward to getting my preggo belly into the mummy-style sleeping bag in our tent, but hey, I'll try!

I'm feeling great. It'll be 24 weeks this weekend. And I'm really showing. No hiding it now even if I wanted to! I had a doctor's appt this past Saturday and he said I'm doing great. We were able to schedule our next u/s for 10/21 - we'll finally know if this is a little boy or girl who's kicking me constantly!

We've been working on our registries at Babies R Us and Target. Had no idea how hard they'd be. Registering for our wedding was a piece of cake compared to this! I took my mom and Michael's mom with me on Saturday to work on them. We were in Target for an hour and BRU for 2! And I'll admit, went a little trigger happy on toys. Um, just giving people lots to choose from, right? :) Still have things to add/change once we know what we're having. Shoot, I'll probably we changing them right up to the baby showers!

That's it for now - only 1.5 hours of work to go then I'll be roasting marshmallows!
