I'll be honest...

early stages of pregnancy? Not so fun. Especially the morning sickness. Which as my close friends know (in detail, no less - don't worry, I won't gross you out by sharing the details with you as well) has been horrible for me. A day does not go by without me getting up close and personal with the toilet. I'm so tired of throwing up constantly. It exhausts me. It makes me cry. I went home early from work last Wednesday, Friday, Monday and didn't come in at all yesterday. I'm counting down the days until the second trimester begins...hoping that it will bring the end of the morning sickness. While I know it's all worth it, that when February comes and I'm holding a precious gift from God in my arms, I won't care - what I had to go through won't matter...but when I'm puking in the public bathroom at work (which is disgusting, by the way) it's hard to remember that!

29 and pregnant

I met my goal - pregnant by 30. By my 29th birthday (on Tuesday) I was already 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. How awesome is that! It's still a bit surreal, but oh so exciting!
