It's a...

Girl!!!!

We had the u/s this morning and found out it's a girl. I'll be honest, I kind of had it my mind it was a boy, although I didn't realize it until after the technician said it's a girl. I actually had 2 dreams last night that we had two ultrasounds and it was a boy both times. I've been calling her "him" and was starting to love all the little sporty boy clothes. I've got to retrain myself to say "her" now!

Michael's going to have Daddy's Little Girl and I'm going to have someone to scrap with, ha ha ha!

Now, we can pick a name, bedding and register for girly stuff!!! :)

Favorite Jelly Belly flavors = happiness

So last night after work I was killing time at Tower City before my seminar. I got some Sakkio Japan for dinner - sooooo good and also went in the the candy store. I decided to get some Jelly Belly jelly beans. I don't get them too often as I never like to pick my own flavors.

So, what flavors did I get?
Cotton Candy
Dr. Pepper
Red Apple
Strawberry Cheescake
Strawberry Daquiri
Very Cherry
Tutti Fruitti
(did you notice they're all red/pink flavors? hmmm..)

I haven't tried these yet but I'm sure I'd like them:
Raspberry
Strawberry Jam

And I'll never again buy:
Cinnamon
buttered popcorn

I also threw some pink rock candy and red sour patch kids (yes, red and pink again,I can't help it!) At my college bookstore they sold individually wrapped jumbo sour patch kids. Yeah, I'd dig through the entire box and buy ALL the red ones. Aaah, sweet memories...

And for the entire 3 hour seminar I ate Jelly Bellys (or is it Bellies?) and sour patch kids.

Yum.

We're back!

The camping trip was a success. We once again had amazing luck with the weather. It was gorgeous, although Saturday was a bit cold. We played Bocce and Badminton, roasted marshmallows and made pizza pies over the campfire, played games, told stories, went on walks and took A LOT of pictures! Sleeping in the tent wasn't too bad.

I fit in my sleeping bag just fine and once my BIL let me use his body pillow to put between my legs I was good to go. I made it to 4 AM before I got up to pee, and let me just say - walking to the restroom with a flashlight that early in morning - not so fun. I of course was scared - kept thinking something or someone was going to get me. Yeah, I'm a little paranoid!

My SIL Abby took a gazillion pictures of me which was a lot of fun. The setting was just gorgeous.

Here are some pictures of our trip.

Camping time!

Yep. This weekend is our annual camping trip with Michael's family. Look forward to it all year. Not necessarily looking forward to getting my preggo belly into the mummy-style sleeping bag in our tent, but hey, I'll try!

I'm feeling great. It'll be 24 weeks this weekend. And I'm really showing. No hiding it now even if I wanted to! I had a doctor's appt this past Saturday and he said I'm doing great. We were able to schedule our next u/s for 10/21 - we'll finally know if this is a little boy or girl who's kicking me constantly!

We've been working on our registries at Babies R Us and Target. Had no idea how hard they'd be. Registering for our wedding was a piece of cake compared to this! I took my mom and Michael's mom with me on Saturday to work on them. We were in Target for an hour and BRU for 2! And I'll admit, went a little trigger happy on toys. Um, just giving people lots to choose from, right? :) Still have things to add/change once we know what we're having. Shoot, I'll probably we changing them right up to the baby showers!

That's it for now - only 1.5 hours of work to go then I'll be roasting marshmallows!
